• Franklin Township resident since 2002.
• Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY, 1989
• President and Owner, BCS Contracting, LLC and Bright Cleaning Solutions, Brooklyn, NY since 2004.
• Proud Parent of three Franklin High School Children.

In 2002, our family’s search for better schools and better quality of life led us to Franklin Township. Since we moved to Franklin, I have been involved in various community improvement activities, including the PTO at the middle and high schools as well as other community groups. In 2005, I participated in the rehabilitation, painting and decoration of Sampson G. Smith School, with a team of parents. I also served as the parent representative on the Conerly Road School Principal Screening Team. Since 2006, I have been involved in college scholarship fund raising activities with the Franklin Rotary Club and the JFK Club. In 2009, I became a member of the Project Graduation Committee for Franklin High School, volunteering to work at the concession stands at Rutgers Football games as well as performing additional fund raising activities to raise money for a fun-filled, safe graduation party that is free of charge for all seniors. I was also a participant, in collaboration with the New Jersey School Board Association, in the creation of the informative video, “Property Taxes in New Jersey: Striking a Balance”. In 2009, I was selected as Housing Commissioner by the Office of the Governor of New Jersey. In this role I have been involved in the development of 177 properties/units for mixed use, including a Senior Apartment Complex and additional affordable housing units for qualified families of Franklin Township.

My business background includes 12 years experience in finance and insurance with a NYC reinsurance company. For the last six years, I have been an entrepreneur, launching, growing and managing two businesses in Facility Management and Property Maintenance.

I believe that my desire to be an active member of the Franklin Township community, in combination with my background, would make me an asset to the Board of Education. With my formal training in finance and insurance, I can make strong contributions to the district’s ongoing business planning and negotiations. My experiences with my own companies have made it clear that most, if not all, properties could reach energy efficiencies that create significant savings in the long run, while also helping the environment. I am a creative thinker, willing to look at issues from a fresh perspective. I hope I can count on your votes on April 20th.

By supporting the Seamon, Lewis and Ramos Team, you will make a difference in our community and in our children.
